Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling.
- Open Barber Shop and prepare for clients.
- Utilize straight razors for advanced cutting techniques as needed.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with salon policies.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Utilize Great money management skills
- Assist with FOH duties including greeting clients, answering phones, and managing retail sales.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, retail math to enhance service offerings.
- Upsell products and services to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles including color theory and hair styling techniques.
- Proficient in using salon software tools like fresha for effective management.
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive client relationships.
- Experience in barbering techniques is a plus.
- Retail sales experience to promote products and services confidently.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Capability to maintain sanitation standards consistently throughout the salon environment.
